What we are
Setpoint Studio is a small, focused studio. We don't have dozens of account managers or a sprawling team of generalists. We're technical people who work closely with clients on the specific problems they have.
We work with businesses that need websites that actually perform — fast, accessible, well-structured — not just designs that look good in a presentation.
Our clients tend to be small to mid-sized businesses that have outgrown their current web presence, or that have never had a strong one to begin with.
What we're not
We're not a large agency with high overhead and a sales team. We don't pitch retainers you don't need or produce generic deliverables that could fit any client.
We're not an AI startup. We use AI where it's genuinely useful and we're direct about where it isn't.
We don't take on projects we're not well-suited for. If you reach out and we're not the right fit, we'll tell you.
How we work
Direct
We tell you what we think. If something won't work, we say so. If there's a better approach, we'll suggest it.
Technical
We're engineers first. We understand the stack, care about performance and accessibility, and write code we'd be comfortable maintaining ourselves.
Honest about AI
We use AI tools in our work and help clients integrate them. We're also honest about what they're good for and what they're not.
No lock-in
We don't lock clients into proprietary platforms or opaque systems. What we build, you own — with documentation to prove it.
